Insurance Satisfaction Survey Results Deep Dive: TOP CHALLENGES was published by Brenda Hunter,, 15 February 2018 … and the results are NOT surprising!

I met Brenda Hunter, Co-Founder of No Small Voice at a diabetes innovation summit … and was wowed by this lady, one small voice, advocating us to “Be Bold, Be Hear” by the insurance companies. When Brenda Hunter’s daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a little over four years ago, the California mom had no idea what she’d face on the insurance front — nor that the challenges she experienced in that first year would lead her to founding a small business aimed at changing the healthcare landscape.

What she ended up creating was No Small Voice, a crowdsourcing site for cost and insurance access information and sharing that info in a community platform, to help patients learn from each other and to gather ammunition for lobbying employers and other decision-makers.

She said, out loud, that 95% of denied healthcare claims are NOT appealed! As she says, “No one care about the outcomes more than you,” so she advocates about how to track your communications and expenses with insurance providers … and even offers a place to vent about your experiences!
