This post is coming a little bit late but I guess we are all still basking in the wonderful-ness of the 2015 Shooting Stars 20th Anniversary Walk to Cure Diabetes, on Sunday, October 25, 2015.
We broke all records: 142 walkers and 10 dogs (or 284 feet and 40 paws) on the ground, enjoying waffles (supported by The Waffle Affair), and taking in the sights of Balboa Island ready for Halloween. At last count, we raised over $17,000 for diabetes research!
To top it off, on the day of the official JDRF Orange County Walk to Cure Diabetes at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA, the Shooting Stars even made it up on the Jumbotron, coming in 2nd place in fundraising among family teams!
